What is Emotional freedom technique, and why could it be so helpful for issues like PTSD, phobias, pain, and weight loss?

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is a revolutionary psychological support that offers to heal from physical and emotional pain and illness when combined with professional psychological treatment. It is a form of psychological acupressure and uses the fingertips to stimulate energy points on the body. Tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain. The cause of all negative emotions is a disturbance in the body’s energy system, and EFT helps in restoring the energy balance.

More and more people are strong supporters of emotional health and consider it an essential part of your physical health and healing. No matter how devoted you are to the proper diet and healthy lifestyle, you will not achieve your body’s ideal healing and powers if your emotional health is not maintained.

 How does EFT work?

This technique is done by tapping (also known as EFT tapping) on acupressure meridians to release blockages. The process begins statement of what the problem feeling is and includes a complete acceptance and acknowledgement of the problem. The client is guided by Dani, the EFT practitioner and asks to repeat specific statement few times while tapping on the meridian points located on the hands. In the next part of treatment, the client focuses on the unwanted feeling in the body and rates it at on a scale of 1-10. Then the client begins to tap on other specific acupoints until the rates go down to zero on the rating scale of 1-10.
